a new sidekick lx with no contract and plan will cost $ 400 at t-mobile and it'll be kcoled. t-mobile will not unlock sidekicks under any circumstances. you might be better off buying one that's already unlocked from somewhere else.also even if you have an unlocked sidekick, you won't have access to the sidekick internet /email /etc network. you can probably use it for texting as well as for voice calls. pretty expensive phone for just that though. was this answer helpful?
