I have the following questions: How do I know if I get a missed call or a text message on the phone? Do I have to check it everytime or is there a light on the outside cover that lets you know you missed a call or you received a message? How do I set up the phone to display the missed calls when I receive them? For example if I receive a missed call but not voice message how do I set up the screen to display 1 missed call instead of me having to look into the received calls?

for those still thinking of buying motorola v3, better think it over, over and over again. if you're the type who's blinded by looks (you have to admit that this phone's slick and handsome) go ahead and get it. V3's for you. But that's just about it for this overpriced phone. i made the mistake of buying it in february. soon i found out that it indeed has a very limited memory. you can store only around 75 messages. You'll be lucky if you hit 80! if you're on a hurry and needing to send an mms quick, you might end up throwing your V3 in the trash bin. characters appear late. you're long done with your texting but the letters are yet to appear. in my case, i counted the stupid delay. it's at least 20! buying V3 is really one of the most stupid thing i've ever done. don't make the same mistake.

i would like to make use of the full memory on my motorola v3 but it only shows 640kb free. i have seen that the pre-installed motorola video and pictures have a lock symbole on them and i cannot delete them. would i need to unlock these and delete them first to get more memory and is this possible?

we bought two of the v3-s; the bluetooth doesn't work in either of them. they can not find eachother. other phones -nokia- can find them. they can't find the nokia. they can't find the computer either. the computer can find them. we can't transfere files to the computer. we tried to transfere phone numbers; two could be transfered then the hellmoto had to be turned off and then on again to transfere another two. the computer can transfere files -phone numbers- to the nokia in bulk. the computer can not transfere a single file to the hellmoto v3. the error message is "transfere failed ". we have shown the problem to the dealer, he couldn't make the phones working. we conclude that the phones are faulty. the phones were bought from two different dealers at two geographically very different locations. this means that there is a generic problem with the bluetooth in these phones. this further means a quality check failure at motorola. therefore one can not recommend motorola products in general.

my phone won't send any messages, it always comes up with a message right after i sent it saying: "message 1: unable to send 1 of 1. " and then "message 1: sent to outbox to retry later. " i haven't run out of texts for the month and i've tried both master clear and master reset. the memory meter is only at 1 and i wouldn't know how to clear it. please help :(
