sir /madam i have a lg ke 820 model it has very low sound and alering symbol does not show on the screen. but it is written in bboklet that it showns phone icon while connecting? so how can i increase its sound and bring icon on the screen

is there any way to customise message tones or is it only the 4 types in the phone you can use? i can only seem to customise ring tones, not message tones. please help and tell me if there is a way to do this.
